MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGG) announced today
that Andrew Wilson has been named General Manager of MGM Grand Hotel and
Casino in Darwin, Australia.

Mr. Wilson assumes the duties from interim General Manager Jay Dee
Clayton, who was assigned to manage the property and recruit for the General
Manager`s position during this transition period.

He joins MGM Grand Australia with over 30 years of experience in the
hospitality industry, 20 of which were served in the casino/hotel sector.  Mr.
Wilson comes to MGM Grand after a long tenure with Burswood Island Resort and
Casino in Perth, Australia where he began as Assistant Financial Controller
and over the course of the next 14 years was promoted to Chief Operating
Officer.  In his most recent position as COO, Mr. Wilson oversaw all hotel,
food & beverage, finance, entertainment and security operations.  Prior to
joining Burswood, he worked at Wrest Point Federal Hotel and Casino and Conrad
International Hotel & Jupiter`s Casino on the Gold Coast of Queensland,
Australia.

Mr. Wilson graduated from the University of Tasmania with a degree in
commerce, specializing in accounting and administration.
