ATA Extends Popular Travel Awards

Time may fly, but beating the clock to redeem travel awards just got easier. ATA (ATA Airlines, Inc.) (Nasdaq:ATAH) is extending its Travel Awards program until Jan. 31, 2005. Originally launched in September 2002, ATA Travel Awards provides customers who fly frequently on ATA or ATA Connection (doing business as Chicago Express Airlines, Inc.) with free travel when they buy their tickets online at ATA.Com.

Pay Less: The deadline has now been extended from Sept. 30, 2003 to Jan. 31, 2005(a). All fare levels apply, meaning that frequent fliers who choose to fly ATA don`t have to worry about losing credit for finding great deals.
“Some airline promotions exclude their cheapest fares or even prohibit Saturday night stays,” said Rick Larsen, Vice President of Marketing. “Quite honestly, we don`t do that. ATA`s Travel Awards recognizes our most loyal customers. ATA believes frequent fliers should have an opportunity to take advantage of both low fares and free trips.”

Earn More:ÊAnyone who registers for the program, books a flight online and completes travel by midnight C.S.T., Jan. 31, 2005, will earn credit toward free tickets. The extension allows those who fly ATA to continue earning free travel for an additional 16 months.
“The majority of the current promotions offered by other airlines require travel to be completed within the next few months,” Larsen explained. “ATA believes rewarding customer loyalty is a long-term commitment.”

Fly Free: ATA Travel Awards allows customers who book online at ATA.Com to earn free tickets in exchange for flying a set number of one-way or round trips. By purchasing and flying as few as three round-trips, a customer can earn a free domestic companion ticket. A free domestic ticket is earned after only six round-trips while international tickets to the Caribbean/Mexico, Puerto Rico and Hawaii are offered after nine and 12 round-trips, respectively. Since no blackout days apply, ATA Travel Awards participants have the opportunity to book earned free tickets any day of the year.
This offer is subject to all official rules, terms and conditions. These can be found online at ATA.Com.
Now celebrating its 30th year of operation, ATA is the nation`s 10th largest passenger carrier based on revenue passenger miles. ATA operates significant scheduled service from Chicago-Midway and Indianapolis to over 40 business and vacation destinations. Stock of the Company`s parent company, ATA Holdings Corp. is traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol “ATAH.” For more information about the Company, visit the website at www.ata.com
