Singapore Airlines (SIA) wishes to correct media reports that Sir Richard Branson is meeting SIA management later this week in Singapore to discuss issues related to Virgin Blue in Australia. This is not the case.

A meeting with the deputy chairman and chief executive officer of SIA, Dr Cheong Choong Kong, was requested by Sir Richard to discuss on-going business matters related to Virgin Atlantic, in which SIA has a 49 per cent stake.
