easyJet Voted Best Low Cost Airline - Again!

For the second consecutive year, readers of Business Traveller magazine have voted easyJet winner of the Best Low Cost Airline category in the 2000 Business Traveller Awards. Once again, easyJet has beaten off the competition to win this prestigious accolade in what are widely considered to be the industry benchmark for airline awards.

Readers of Business Traveller magazine obviously appreciate the fact that easyJet operates frequent daily flights to 18 key European business and leisure destinations, and flies one of the world`s youngest fleets. In addition, unlike many other airlines, easyJet does not stipulate a minimum stay requirement to obtain the cheapest fares, and offers a superior level of flexibility - passengers can change flights for a fee of £10 plus any difference in fare.

The award was presented to Stelios, Chairman of easyJet, earlier today at a lunchtime ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel in London. Guest of honour at the event was Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan.

This is the second time in a week that easyJet has been named as Best Low Cost Airline. On Monday, the airline was also awarded this title in the Telegraph Travel Awards, voted for by almost 6,000 Daily Telegraph readers.
