The Alitalia shareholders` assembly today, chaired by President Fausto Cereti, approved the balance sheet for the year 2000, and confirmed Dr. Francesco Mengozzi and Dr. Carlo Tamburi as administrators.

The Board of Directors, which met after the shareholders` assembly, also confirmed Dr. Mengozzi as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Executive Committee, and Dr. Tamburi as a member of the Executive Committee.
