Following confirmation of military action in Afghanistan, British Airways` has confirmed that its services are continuing to operate as normal.

The airline has not received any notification of airspace closure therefore the operation continues as normal. British Airways services do not over-fly Afghanistan airspace.

As always, British Airways will continue to monitor the situation closely, in liaison with the government.

British Airways is advising its passengers travelling out of the United States to check-in at the airports earlier than normal due to additional security measures.
