Emirates Named Best Medium Haul Airline For Business Travel

Emirates Airline has been named the world`s Best Medium Haul Airline 2001 by British business travellers. Readers of Business Traveller, the UK`s best-selling business travel magazine, voted the Dubai-based international carrier its clear winner, ahead of British Airways and Singapore Airlines.

Maurice Flanagan, Emirates Group Managing Director, collected the award from HRH The Princess Royal at an awards luncheon at The Dorchester Hotel, London.

Mr Flanagan said: “We are honoured once again to be recognised by customers who endorse our efforts at Emirates to set new standards of customer service and care.

“This award underlines that with free chauffeur drive to and from the airport, the world’s most modern aircraft fleet, the highest standards of on-board products and services, and the benefits of our Skywards frequent flyer programme, we can claim to be the preferred choice for business travellers.”

In its 16-year history, Emirates has won more than 200 awards - and has been consistently voted ahead of the rest by customers the world over.
