UK short breaks provider, Superbreak Mini-Holidays , a company with an annual turnover of GBP 67 million (EUR 109m, USD 97m), is to sell online to travel agents through Traveleye, X-TANT`s integrated selling system.

The deal will see agents booking live and in real-time Superbreak`s portfolio of over 1800 hotels in the UK and Europe through Traveleye by clicking on a Superbreak logo. Agents will also be able to book the operator`s added-value products such as airport hotels and theatre breaks.

Due for launch later this month, Superbreak is the latest high-profile name to offer commissionable bookings within the Traveleye system, which allows agents to make reservations within the trade-only websites of some of the UK`s leading travel providers. Other companies selling this way through Traveleye include Hertz, Gold Medal`s Farebank and Hotelbank systems, Holiday Autos and car park operator BCP. According to Superbreak`s sales director Ian Mounser, the breakthrough confirms the importance of the operator`s e-commerce strategy and will boost agency traffic across its Web site, which currently handles over 2500 online reservations a week.
