Expedia Signs Contract with Disney Resort

Following on the heels of its major online competitor, Expedia inked a deal with Walt Disney World Resort for a one-stop shop for consumers to book packages to the Orlando theme parks starting March 15.

Travelocity last month announced a deal with Walt Disney World to sell packages as part of its effort to build the Travelocity Vacations brand.

Expedia already offers other Disney products, including cruises on Disney Cruise Line and vacations to Disneyland in California.
With the Walt Disney World agreement, Expedia customers will be able to buy theme park tickets and book packages at onsite Disney Resort hotels as well as create their own packages by choosing flights, hotel accommodations and car rentals.
