WTM gets underway


World Travel Market is back. The halls of the Excel building, located in the heart of Londons Docklands, are bustling with activity as the show kicks of for a three day stint in a bid to assist worldwide tourism sales.
One of the largest contingences are the Caribbean nations hoping to further increase their tourism numbers in an increasingly difficult market.
Many islands reported increases in arrivals at the recent CTC-26 hosted on the island of St. Thomas. WTM is a fantastic vehicle to further improve those statistics.
Esther C. Smith of the St. Kitts tourism board said of the event; `It is a great opportunity for tourism authorities to really promote their product. This is one of the biggest events in the tourism calendar, and a great meeting spot.`
