US Airways to Begin Glasgow-Philadelphia

US Airways announced today that it will begin seasonal nonstop service
between Glasgow, Scotland and its Philadelphia hub on May 8, 2004.

The new service will operate daily using Boeing 767 widebody aircraft,
with seating for 23 passengers in Envoy Class and 176 passengers in
Economy Class. Flights will depart Glasgow at 12:45 p.m., and will arrive
in Philadelphia at 3:45 p.m. Flights will depart Philadelphia at 8:30
p.m., and will arrive in Glasgow at 8:25 a.m. the following morning.

“We are delighted to announce this new service to Glasgow, which is the
first destination served by US Airways in Scotland,” said Douglas D. Leo,
US Airways vice president-international. “Glasgow will become our 11th
transatlantic destination, and will provide convenient connections to over
45 destinations throughout our route network.”
