Cheapflights reveals Caribbean hot spots

Sandy beaches and sparkling seas have enticed many over the past 12 months as Cheapflights.co.uk reveals the top Caribbean destinations (by page impressions).
The Caribbean, offering exotic scenery and the ideal island getaway, has long been a desired destination for those after a holiday with that special edge. It is now the cheapest time of the year to visit the Caribbean, so for striking ocean views and gallons of rum, Cheapflights.co.uk has compiled a list for this summer of its users’ six most popular Caribbean destinations.

Jamaica beat Barbados to the top spot as the most desired Caribbean destination with 35.66 per cent of the page impressions. This may be because it is fortunate enough to have two airports although the coral reefs and banana palms are sure to have lured in those hopeful of cheap flights to these two stunning destinations.

Barbados did however come in second with 32.39 per cent of the page views. Little wonder as it is one hundred miles east from its closest neighbour, so you can really indulge in an island fantasy.

Havana, the lively and colourful capital of Cuba, rolled in to fourth place with 15.20 per cent. Antigua attracted 8.52 per cent and St Lucia, came in sixth with 8.23 per cent of the page impressions.

This data was compiled from almost one million page impressions (991,057) over the past 12 months. Thanks to Cheapflights.co.uk, many site visitors will have made their exotic island dreams a reality.”
