InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Katerina Fajgar as the new Director of Marketing and Communications for the three upcoming properties at Dubai Festival City - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and InterContinental Residence Suites. Of Czech origin, Katerina brings over seven years of hospitality experience to her new role, having over four years experience with the group.
Her career started in Prague in 1996 before moving to Dubai where she joined the five star hospitality industry as Sales Manager.
Her most recent position was as Public Relations and Communications Manager for InterContinental Dubai hotel. Her main focus was overseeing hotel domestic and international communications strategies, managing consumer-focused public relations programs/ initiatives, developing promotional opportunities to raise the profile of the brand, generating press publicity and responsible for media relations activities.
