Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and flyglobespan announced, year-round, scheduled, nonstop, low-fare service beginning Tuesday, November 7, 2006 to Belfast International Airport (BFS) in Northern Ireland. This new service is the only one of its kind in the state of Florida and is available for Florida residents to book travel on immediately.

Belfast is the second destination served by flyglobespan since it began flying daily scheduled service to Glasgow, Scotland from Orlando Sanford on June 2, 2006. This Glasgow flight from Orlando Sanford is also the only one of its kind in Florida.

Flyglobespan will use a Boeing 767-300ER on the route with prices starting at $249 each way including taxes. The carrier will offer three levels of seating and service. The Economy No Frills cabin accommodates 160 passengers with a minimum 30” seat pitch. A wide range of meals, snacks and refreshments will be offered for sale onboard. The Premier Economy cabin will offer 60 passengers a 34” seat pitch with complimentary meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment. Business Class will offer 24 sleeper seats with a 50” seat pitch and full individual in-flight entertainment, dedicated priority check-in and the use of an airport executive lounge. Champagne will be offered prior to departure and in the air, gourmet meals and fine wines will be served.

Flights will depart Orlando Sanford each Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. and arrive in Belfast at 7:15 a.m. the next day. Return service is scheduled to leave Belfast each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at Orlando Sanford at 3:25 p.m. (flight times are local).
