New man for Beau Rivage

Regis Catoire is the new General Manager of
the luxurious five star Beau Rivage, Mauritius, part of Naiade Resorts.Describing his recent move to Naiade Resorts, Regis said: “I have been
seduced by Managing Director Patrice Hardy’s vision for, and commitment to,
Naiade Resorts. It is a very exciting time for the company and for Beau
Rivage in particular. I feel I have a lot to contribute in fine-tuning the
resort to bring it up to the next level as a leading hotel.”

Regis, 55, who will take Beau Rivage in a new direction, began his career 35
years ago at the Oriental Hotel, Bangkok. Since then, he has been integral
to the opening and management of several successful hotels across Asia.
Prior to his appointment at Beau Rivage, Regis spent a year in charge of the
development of the five star Plaza Royal Hotel in Beijing, China.

 

Regis has worked both at top luxury hotels, Rayavadee, Krabi in Thailand and
the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, China and regular five star
hotels, the Sheriton Hotel in Chengdu, China and the Renaissance Riverside
Hotel and the New World Hotel in Saigon, Vietnam.

With Regis at the leading rein, Beau Rivage is going to be a hive of
activity this year, transforming it into the signature resort for Naiade
Resorts. Current accommodation is being refurbished with rooms being
redecorated to greater reflect the fusion of cultures found at the resort -
Indo, Chinese and European. New junior suites are also being transformed to
match the newly implemented standards at Beau Rivage, to be completed in
November 2006. A further 12 luxury villas are also being built at Beau
Rivage to be completed in June 2007 and a butler service is being introduced
in November 2006 to complement the new focus at Beau Rivage.

 

Regis said: “Being general manager is a wonderful occupation and I am really
looking forward to developing this young resort. It will be challenging but
hugely rewarding.”
