Lake Tahoe Central Reservations Selects InntopiaCRS

Inntopia today announces that Lake Tahoe Central Reservations (LTCR) has chosen InntopiaCRS for its central reservations technology.

InntopiaCRS, the new destination call center system designed by Internet reservations leader Inntopia, combines the flexibility and scalability of a hosted application with the sophistication of client/server call center applications. The system allows for third party suppliers, lodging and non-lodging, to maintain rates and availability through a simple browser-based administrator. This inventory is then available for dynamic packaging at the call center, as well as through the destination’s website and through major GDS distribution channels.

“We designed InntopiaCRS especially for destination call centers like the Lake Tahoe Central Reservations,” notes Trevor Crist, president of Inntopia. “With InntopiaCRS, it’s easy for third party suppliers to manage their own rates and availability, which means there’s a substantial reduction of administrative time and costs at the call center. And, because InntopiaCRS is built on the Inntopia platform, those suppliers’ inventory can be distributed out through Inntopia’s extensive distribution network, which includes all major ADS and GDS systems. Lake Tahoe is a premier destination, and we are very pleased that LTCR has selected us as their technology provider.”

InntopiaCRS features include intuitive agent screens, robust source tracking, flexible reporting, automated billing and commission processing, and support for dynamic packaging and sales of a wide variety of travel products. ÊIt allows call centers to lower their administrative overhead, while offering expanded distribution options to their suppliers. “Inntopia has a great track record in the destination reservations market and they understand our business needs, so choosing InntopiaCRS was an easy decision,” said Andy Chapman, Tourism Director for LTCR. “It allows our agents to spend more of their time taking reservations instead of spending their time managing supplier accounts. Ultimately, everyone will benefit from this decision - our agents, our suppliers and our customers.”
