Epping Forest is Grenada’s newest B&B

Surrounded by scenic mountains and lush rainforest, Epping Forest Plantation House recently opened its doors as Grenada’s newest bed and breakfast. Situated on three acres of former cocoa plantation, Epping Forest offers its guests peace, privacy and breathtaking views of Grenada.

Built at the turn of the last century, Epping Forest was recently purchased by the present owners Dave and Jackie Kennedy who have since restored the property and added a large balcony to two sides of the house.The charming guest house offers two double rooms for bed & breakfast accommodations. Each inviting suite is adorned with English antiques, ceiling fan, double bed, private bathroom, private entrance and access to a balcony. Guests have full use of the private swimming pool and can wander the grounds at leisure, picking fresh mangos or bananas from the many fruit trees that line the property. Year-round daily room rates are US$100, including breakfast for two, and weekly rates are US$525.Epping Forest is located in St. Paul’s, just a 10-minute drive away from the capital city of St. George’s and the famous Grand Anse Beach, the main tourist area. Guests can also catch the public mini bus, which can take them to just about every location on the island, and is only a five-minute walk from the property.
