is now offering agents a new ferry product, which, thanks to its Graphical User Interface (GUI), is easier to use than ever before - accessible either via Pro Tempo, or via Amadeus` Internet products Pro Web and soon to be launched Pro Vista.
Currently being rolled out to travel agents who specialise in this niche market, Amadeus users will be able to access this tool to make reservations on Hoverspeed and Brittany Ferries - with more operators in the pipeline.
The Amadeus Ferry booking process is quick, clear and efficient. It features point and click technology, together with drop down menus and prompts to guide the user. Built-in automation speeds up the entire task by reducing the need for manual data entry. Reservations are synchronised, bought and sold directly from the ferry providers` own systems to lessen confusion and ensure accuracy.
Real-time links guarantee that agents are always viewing the latest information such as last minute deals. The Amadeus Ferry is designed to automatically update and can remain open - ready for access, as and when required.
