Scanres Hospitality Solutions AB, a provider of software and services for central reservations on the European market, today announce the acquirement of a license to the source code of the former Falcon CRS.
Falcon CRS, originally developed by the American company Hospitality Solutions International, is a Windows based system platform for central reservations, Internet bookings and GDS representation. Today, several hotel chains and independent hotels in Europe use the system that provides them with a complete reservation and distribution solution as it combines numerous distribution and sales channels for hotel rooms.
“Scanres has worked with Falcon CRS in Europe for five years. During this period we have developed a number of Internet modules based on the CRS system which has added lots of value for our customers”, says Anders Johansson, Managing Director at Scanres. “Now we will control the source and all future development of the system which further establishes Scanres position as one of the leading providers of modern reservation technology in the European market.”
