Cyberes Plc, a unique, on-line travel reservation system for independent travel agents (`ITAs`), and itself a flight consolidator (a wholesaler of discounted fares), today announces that it has signed an agreement with Delta Air Lines, the world`s largest airline (in terms of passengers carried), to distribute electronically their special `consolidated` or `negotiated` fares.

The deal gives Cyberes and more importantly its ITA clients access to thousands of discounted economy and business class fares between the UK and the USA.

The Delta Air Lines arrangement gives Cyberes agents access to the leading transatlantic airline, offering the most daily flight departures, serving the largest number of non-stop markets and carrying more passengers than any other airline. Delta carried some 117 million passengers in the year 2000.

We see a tremendous opportunity to create volume sales through Cyberes` unique technology and freephone reservation support simply because it enables Independent Travel Agents to offer a better level of service to their customers.”

Delta joins 22 other airlines that use Cyberes as an electronic distribution channel for their consolidated fares including Air France (one of Delta`s SKYTEAM? partners), Cathay Pacific, KLM, Emirates, Malaysian Airlines and Singapore Airlines.
