Travelcamel Ltd, the UKå‘s leading online travel gear retailer, has today launched their redesigned website.
The new interactive site provides a selection of travel essentials ranging from basics such as sunscreen, batteries, camera film and insect repellent to more specialised goods including rucksacks, pharmaceutical products and cameras. All of the products are sourced from quality brands as Kodak, Polaroid, Ambre Solaire and Karrimor.
Travelcamel’s new site includes a unique new feature that gives customers advice on what they will need to take on their travels. Customers are asked to select their destination (eg. France, Eastern Caribbean, West Africa or New Zealand, etc) and holiday type (eg. Sun & Beach, Backpacking, Family or Business, etc). The Essentials Finder tool then provides the customer with a suggested list of travel gear appropriate for that particular holiday.
As part of the re-launch, Travelcamel has introduced new product ranges within new categories including security products, business travel, travel gifts and kids travel needs.
The site also features ‘essentials guides’ which each month will give customers advice about two particular aspects of travel shopping. The initial two guides will cover Travel Health and Security Products, essential for lone and female travellers. Future shopping guides will cover topics such as Travelling with children, Round-the-world Essentials, and Winter Sun.

To mark the launch of their redesigned site Travelcamel will be running a half-price Camera promotion, where a range of leading Kodak disposable cameras will be offered at 50% off normal retail price.
