AHIF 2018: Radisson unveils plans for new property in Ivory Coast

Radisson Hospitality has announced the signing of Radisson Red Hotel Abidjan Plateau, Ivory Coast on the eve of the Africa Hotel Investment Forum.

The group’s African portfolio consists of more than 90 hotels with upward of 18,000 rooms in operation and under development.

Scheduled to shake up the Ivorian hospitality industry in 2021, Radisson Red Hotel Abidjan Plateau is Radisson Hotel Group’s second Radisson Red signing in Africa and will be the first lifestyle select upscale hotel in Abidjan, a major Francophone capital city in Africa.

The hotel will be located on Boulevard de Gaulle, on the edge of the lagoon in Plateau, the premier business district of this vibrant West African city, the ideal urban location for the hotel which will present a playful twist on the conventional.

The new-build-hotel will have 165 rooms comprising of studio rooms and suites which will feature bold wall graphics.

The hotel’s food & drink offering will include a Redeli and Ouibar, a premium deli with the soul of a bar as well as a trendy rooftop bar and terrace with panoramic city and ocean views.

The leisure facilities will include a rooftop swimming pool and a fully equipped gym, creating a buzzing interactive social scene.

The meeting and events space area will break tradition with its modern event studio and four reading rooms.
