A month before a vote on Expo 2020, delegates of 105 BIE member states met in Izmir to attend the Symposium on “Health for All”. Delegation of “NC “Astana EXPO -2017” represented Kazakhstan on the event.
EXPO 2017 through the eyes of children
“Starting a career in science from school-days” an international research and practice forum on science and technology was held at Schoolchildren’s Palace on October 8-9, 2013 under the theme of “EXPO -2017 through the eyes of children”. The forum was attended by representatives of near and far abroad countries, regional delegations of Kazakhstan scientific societies young researchers, winners of regional research projects competitions in scientific, technical and natural science areas.

On September 30,2013, international conference on “Green Bridge” Partnership Program and on international specialised exhibition “Astana EXPO-2017” was held in Astana. 100-day countdown begins to Expo 2020 vote in November
The final countdown has begun with less than 100 days to go until representatives from the 167 member nations of the Paris-based Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) cast their votes on November 27th to decide which city will host the 2020 World Expo. The Dubai Expo 2020 team is now focused on working towards the Theme Symposium in Dubai this October.
