During a recent interview with French Valeures Actuelles magazine, Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State and Managing Director of the Higher Committee for Hosting the World Expo 2020 in Dubai, highlighted the fact the Expo will provide huge employment opportunities in the services sector for both Emirati citizens and expat residents.



Her Excellency went on to point out the further significance hosting of the Expo in Dubai would have, bringing in investment in the region of US$2-4bn to develop the emirate’s infrastructure, while endorsing Dubai’s status in meeting the demands of such a major global event.



She noted that if Dubai is selected, it would be the first time a World Expo has been hosted in the Middle East, North Africa and India region.
