John Scanlon has been appointed general manager of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Having joined Dorchester Collection in 2005, he is currently the general manager of 45 Park Lane.
Managed by luxury hospitality brand, Dorchester Collection, the property welcomes residents to immerse themselves in a unique selection of luxury lifestyle experiences.
Mirko Cattini will take up the role on February 14th and will be taking over from Luca Virgilio, who is moving to London in January as general manager of the Dorchester.
Coming from the Arabic expression meaning ‘for us’ and the Hawaiian ‘floating gently in calm water,’ the name pays homage to the hotel’s location beside the Dubai Creek and the Marasi Marina.
The upgrade will be the biggest since 1989 and will start with the entrance to the hotel, the Promenade and the Bar at the Dorchester, as well as two guest floors.
