Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced plans to expand its rapidly growing Aloft and Element brands with the signing of a dual-hotel development in London. Scheduled to open in early 2017, the new-build Aloft and Element hotels will offer an exciting range of accommodation in the heart of the historic Tobacco Dock area of East London.

Aloft brand to make New York debut
Starwood’s Aloft brand is set to debut in New York in June. The 132-room Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor will feature the brand’s signature W XYZ bar, Splash pool, 24-hour fitness center and 690 square feet of flexible meeting space, ideal for both business meetings and social gatherings.
Starwood’s fast growing Aloft brand poised to launch in Sarasota
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced that its leading-edge Aloft brand plans to debut in Sarasota, Florida in August 2015. Owned by a joint venture between JWM One Palm Avenue, LLC and iStar Financial, Aloft Sarasota will offer 139 spacious, loft-like rooms, urban-influenced design and a vibrant, social atmosphere.
Aloft set to open in Louisville in April
Aloft Louisville Downtown is scheduled to open in April 2015 in the city’s central business district. The new-build 167-room property features the brand’s signature W XYZsm bar, Splash pool, 24-hour fitness centre and 2,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, ideal for both business meetings and social gatherings.
Aloft to open 2nd property in UAE
Starwood Hotels & Resorts today announced it has signed an agreement to open a new 172-room Aloft hotel in Al Ain, the second largest city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Scheduled to debut in 2016, Aloft Al Ain will be the first Starwood property to open in Al Ain and the second Aloft hotel in the UAE joining Aloft Abu Dhabi, which opened in 2009

Starwood’s Aloft brand has made its debut in Orlando, Florida. The Aloft Orlando Downtown features the brand’s signature W XYZ bar, significant outdoor dining space and urban-influenced, modern design. The W XYZ bar will also feature live music with emerging local artists as part of its signature Live at Aloft Hotels program.

Starwood’s Aloft brand has arrived in Panama, one of the most important travel markets in the Americas. Aloft Panama is the fourth Aloft hotel to open in Latin America, since the brand made its debut less than two years ago.

The 160-room Aloft Miami-Brickell has opened its doors in downtown Miami, offering guests the latest technology and a buzzing, social atmosphere. It is the second Aloft hotel to open in the Miami metropolitan area following the opening of Aloft Miami Doral in March.

Starwood’s Aloft brand has made its debut in Cancun, Mexico. The Aloft brand made its debut in Latin America in 2011 with the opening of the Aloft Bogota Airport, followed by Aloft San Jose in Costa Rica three months later.
