Starwood’s Aloft brand will soon debut in Veracruz, the main commercial seaport in Mexico, and Queretaro, one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
Starwood’s Aloft brand has expanded its presence in California with the opening of Aloft El Segundo – Los Angeles Airport, the brand’s first hotel in Los Angeles County. Owned by Rubicon Companies and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, the hotel recently completed a $20 million conversion project to reposition it as an Aloft.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts is set to debut its Aloft brand in Paraguay with the opening of Aloft Asuncion. Aloft is set to more than double its footprint in Latin America from six to 13 hotels by 2018, with new openings in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
