Shanghai’s Zendai Art Hotel Joins  Preferred Hotels & Resorts

Zendai Art Hotel is one of only four hotels in China admitted to this prestigious collection of 222 luxury independent hotels and resorts.

Developed by the Zendai Group, the owner, Mr. Dai Zhi Kang, has placed significant emphasis on making this hotel a living, thriving display of Chinese art.  The building itself was designed by Arata Isozaki, designer of the Barcelona Olympic Stadium, and interiors by KCA International, of Burj al Arab fame.

The 313 rooms and suites of Zendai Art Hotel occupy the first floors of a dedicated hotel tower in the Himalayas Centre complex.  19 multi purpose hospitality suites of 90-100 sqm are ideal for entertaining, meetings and private exhibitions.

 

Mezzanine One is an innovative dining facility incorporating Italian antipasto, steak house, wine bar, sushi bar and teppanyaki tables in one location. Also featured is the Shanghai Art Restaurant in a stunningly designed venue set to serve Shanghainese specialties.

Zendai Art Hotel is opening next summer in time for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and will be one of the Shanghai’s most anticipated deluxe hotels.
