The Seychelles Tourism Board, partnered with 7° south, is attending the Bridal Expo Fair, which is being held in Kampala, Uganda, from September 2 to 4, 2011.
Seychelles participation at the fair will definitely generate interests as on one of the best honeymoon and ideal wedding destinations.
While in Uganda, the Seychelles Tourism Board, with the collaboration of its Tourism Ambassador Pearl Hoareau, will also conduct a destination workshop with some of the tour operators and travel agents on September 6, 2011.
Senior Marketing Executive of Seychelles Tourism Board, Amia Jovanovic, who will be representing the mid-Creole islands at the fair, said it is the first time they attended a tourism exhibition in Uganda.
“Seychelles’ presence will generate some good return on investment and boost the interest of the tour operators and travel agents from Uganda, and the region alike, to consider featuring and promoting Seychelles on their destination lists,” she said.
The Bridal Expo is designed to attract and capture all the available bridal providers, as well as tour operators and other stakeholders who are targeting and reaching this particular market segment.
Visitors will have a unique opportunity to meet and interact with companies who represent the products they admire so greatly.
Seychelles remains committed to the principle that Africa must work with Africa if Africa is to become stronger. “This is why we are in Uganda supporting their Bridal Expo and in so doing place Seychelles as the Africa option for honeymoons and weddings holidays,” said Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.
