Seychelles displays message from nature to promote tourism and environment

A message from nature delivered to the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association has received mention in the 25th edition of the Seychelles conservation magazine.  On January 13, 2012, on one of Seychelles’ golden beaches, ranked among the top ten beaches in the world, 2 divers emerged from the shallow lagoon with a message in a bottle. Nature was speaking to the tourism industry of the islands.

The message “protect what nature has endowed us with” was received by the Chairman of the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association Mr. Louis D’offay.

The Chief Editor of Seychelles conservation magazine, Nirmal Jivan Shah, Director of Nature Seychelles and Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association media point person on Anse Lazio Beach, was present to witness this great event.

Eight months after the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association members accepted the message, the Chief Editor of “Zwazo,” translated in English as “bird,” has revived this moment in the special issue of the January-June edition of Seychelles conservation magazine.

The Seychelles Minister for Tourism&Culture, impressed by the 36-page article of the magazine, has congratulated the Chief Editor and has extended his thanks for publishing this article showing to the world Seychelles’ endeavors in protecting its unspoiled natural beauty.
