Bab Al Qasr is soft opening in Abu Dhabi this week

Millennium & Copthorne has revealed the soft opening of the highly anticipated Bab Al Qasr in Abu Dhabi.

A new landmark on the capital’s ever-changing skyline, the iconic property is located on the exclusive corniche, next to the Presidential Palace.

Celebrating Arabic culture, in everything from the architecture and interior design to the authentic Arabian experiences, the property marks the second hotel opening from the group’s luxury portfolio, The Biltmore Collection.

Guests are welcomed by the sight of the magnificent lobby that creates a stunning sense of arrival.

The hotel comprises 677 sumptuously appointed guest rooms, suites and residences, many of which offer panoramic waterfront views of the Arabian Gulf.

Luxurious interiors were inspired by the region’s rich heritage, with a contemporary décor complemented by traditional Arabic touches, handcrafted furnishings and state-of-the-art facilities.

The hotel’s sophisticated culinary offering includes Artisan Kitchen, which serves seasonal cuisine from breakfast through to dinner, with outstanding chefs displaying their skills at live cooking stations featuring flavours and aromas from all corners of the globe.

Those looking for something lighter can choose Morjana, an Arabian inspired lounge which provides the perfect spot to meet over traditional afternoon tea, freshly made pastries and speciality tea and coffee.

Meanwhile the deli, Fresh Basil showcases a range of carefully selected products that can be delivered to guest rooms or residences, with a chef on hand to make recommendations.

Offerings include gourmet olives, world cheeses, luxury biscuits and homemade pies alongside freshly baked goods, a butchery counter and home-baked pizza. 

Finally, due to open in early December, Limo will present Peruvian cuisine in a contemporary style, blending regional influences from Japan, China and Spain.

Impressive leisure facilities include a pristine stretch of private beach, infinity pool and upcoming private cabanas.

The luxurious spa harnesses the essence of Arabia with private relaxation areas and an extensive treatment menu incorporating Middle Eastern techniques, healing herbs and organic ingredients.

The hotel will also offer unrivalled events and conference facilities including 16 fully equipped meeting rooms and an opulent ballroom providing the perfect setting for corporate events, lively parties and spectacular weddings.
