Located on the 2nd floor of Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, Xin Hwa has undergone a number of changes to enhance its ambience and interior, ensuring guests enjoy the ultimate in comfort when dining at the restaurant.  Retaining an elegant feel the restaurant’s wall coverings have been replaced with lighter tones and decorated with new contemporary Chinese art, in addition more light has been introduced,creating a more open dining environment.

To coincide with this new look Xin Hwa is also delighted to announce the arrival of its new Chinese chef, Chef Chan Yiu So, whose cuisine has introduced both new and exciting flavours to the menu.  Chef Chan has 23 years’ experience in a number of high-profile hotels and restaurants in Hong Kong; Singapore and Malaysia, making him an expert in authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisines.  Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, Chef Chan was Chinese Executive Chef at the Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur.  His love affair with Chinese cuisine promises food-lovers a dining experience not to be missed.

Xin Hwa is ready to delight guests from Monday to Saturday for lunch from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and for dinner from Monday to Sunday from 6.30 to 10.30 p.m.  Sunday Yum Cha or Dim Sum brunch will be served from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
