Jolivet to lead new Amara hotel in Limassol, Cyprus

Xavier Jolivet has been appointed general manager at Amara, Stademos Hotels’ newest development.

The property is set to open in Limassol in May. 

Jolivet will work alongside founder Demos Demosthenous to launch the new-build 207-room hotel and manage the property in its first months of operation.

Originally from France, his past roles include director of food and beverage at the Grand Hotel Hyatt Martinez in Cannes; operations director at Hotel Metropole in Monaco with Joel Robuchon; and resident manager at the Royal Palm in Mauritius.

Most recently, he was general manager at Hotel Royal Palm in Marrakech, where he led the hotel strategy from development stages and pre-opening, to establishing it as one of the best hotels in the city.

With over 25 years of experience across roles in food and beverage, purchasing, operations and management, Jolivet brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to Amara and will be instrumental in introducing the new offering to the Cyprus hotel scene.
