Friday nights at Sheraton Skyline heat up to the sounds of the Caribe All Stars

The Sheraton Skyline has brought some Caribbean sunshine to Friday evenings with live music from London-based steel pan trio the Caribe All Stars.  The hotel’s unique Sky Garden restaurant makes the perfect backdrop for the steel band’s sounds with its tropical plants, large glass canopy and blue freeform pool.

Playing a mixture of Caribbean favourites such as Yellow Bird, Guantanamera, Island in the Sun and Hot Hot Hot, as well as popular Bob Marley, Reggae music, old-school pop and sing-a-long classics, the Caribe All Stars now entertain guests in the hotel’s Sky Garden every Friday from 7-10pm.

Whilst they take in the Caribbean sounds, diners at the Garden Restaurant can enjoy the exotic flavours of dishes such as salmon fishcakes accompanied by home-made sweet chilli sauce and marinated rump of lamb skewer served with sweet potato mash, sorrel leaves and minted yoghurt dip.  The restaurant also offers a wide selection of grilled meats, pasta dishes and salads.

Guests who prefer to simply enjoy a drink at the Sky Bar, can choose from classics such as a delicious Pina Colada, to the Sky Bar special “Relax in the Skyline” – a refreshing blend of vodka, Archers peach schnapps, orange juice and fresh strawberries.  The Sky Bar also offers a selection of nibbles including chilli-marinated shrimps and home-made mini beef burgers.
