Recently, after first export of mass transit vehicle to EU countries, CSR GROUP announced the successful order of metro line 2 vehicles, providing 115 A-alloy metro vehicles. Till then, CSR GROUP has a total of 1,333 vehicles winning the bid in 2011, accounting for 68.5 percent of total domestic biding metro vehicles.

It is reported that there are a total of 1,945 vehicles for 13 bidding projects in eight cities of Guangzhou, Wuxi, Chengdu, Beijing, Qingdao, Nanjing, Chongqing, and Suzhou. CSR GROUP acquired nine of them including 1,333 vehicles, accounting for 68.5 percent. CSR GROUP first entered Qingdao and Wuxi. Up till now, CSR GROUP metro products have covered 44 lines of 17 domestic cities.

According to an insider of CSR GROUP, CSR GROUP has formed a metro vehicles manufacturing base with the annual output of more than 2,000 with the support of the enterprises with vehicle production qualification like CSR Zhuji, CSR Sifang, and CSR Puzhen and the core parts enterprises like CSR ZELRI and CSR QSYRI, mainly by independent research and development. CSR G is capable of manufacturing world-leading Type A and Type B metro vehicles with the car body of A-alloy, stainless steel and carbon steel, and metro vehicles driven by linear motion actuator and China’‘s fastest metro vehicles with the speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

CSR metro products not only have a very good performance in domestic market, but are widely popular in international market. At present, CSR metro vehicles have exported to many countries of EU, Singapore, India and Mid-East.
