Luxury London based serviced apartment specialist Cheval Residences is delighted to announce that it will now offer all guests a free ‘handy’ phone during their stay.
These complimentary smartphones will be available across all eight of the Cheval Residences’ London properties from October 2016 onwards and will be available to all guests staying from just one night.
They will be able to use the ‘handy’ phone to make free UK calls, as well as international calls to eleven countries including the USA, UAE and Hong Kong, throughout their stay.
The phone also offers unlimited and free 3G and 4G connectivity, as well as access to a London city guide packed full of information on local events and activities and of course Google Maps – making it the perfect travel accessory.
The phones will be preloaded with information on their chosen residence with shortcuts to both the concierge and housekeeping departments.
Cheval Residences can foresee the ‘handy’ phone being of immeasurable use to its extended stay customers allowing them to keep in contact with their loved ones at home at no cost to themselves.
Furthermore, it’s a great way for guests to keep in touch with friends and family based in the UK, without having to worry about charges for calls or data roaming when out and about.
The ‘handy’ phone comes with a selection of apps already installed and once users add their Google credentials, they can personalise the phone with their preferred applications before erasing all personal information ahead of check-out.
Although very new to London, in 2016, ‘handy’ devices deployed in Hong Kong and Singapore hotel rooms will be used by 18.1 million visitors.
George Westwell, director of Cheval Residences, commented: “Our guests’ comfort and enjoyment is always of the upmost importance to us and this includes helping them avoid costly roaming and call charges while staying in London.
“We are confident that the handy phone will further add to the home-away-from-home experience that all of our residences offer.”
