At a press conference this morning, Air France announced the opening of its 4th destination in China, Canton, as from September 2003.
This new route, made possible by the new bilateral agreement signed by both the Chinese and French governments in January 2003, will be served by 5 weekly flights, by B777 or A340
In addition, Air France has signed an agreement with the airline China Southern, based in Canton, appointed by the Chinese government
This new route completes Air France`s high quality schedule to China in summer 2003, with 3 daily flights to Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai, which also benefits from a partnership with China Eastern.
