Mexico gets international flight boost

More than 30 new flights to Mexico from the United States, Canada and Europe are scheduled to begin operating this summer due to high demand from overseas tourists, Mexican Tourism Minister Rodolfo Elizondo told EFE news wire.
Elizondo said the new service will include both commercial and charter flights, 23 of which will originate in the United States, six in Canada and five in Britain.

Additionally, service from Madrid to Cancun, in Mexico’s Caribbean region, will expand to an additional four flights per week.
