Bova takes up resort manager role with St. Regis Mauritius

The St. Regis Mauritius Resort has announced the appointment of Rocco Bova to the role of resort manager.

Reporting into Damon Page, area manager Starwood Hotels & Resorts Indian Ocean and general manager of The St. Regis Mauritius Resort, Bova assumes responsibility for the smooth operation of the resort including accommodation, restaurants and bars, housekeeping and all guest services and full management responsibility of the property in the absence of Page.

As resort manager, Bova assumes the day to day management of the resort which features 172 rooms and suites, six dynamic restaurant venues; the Iridium Spa and a private cinema.

The resort also features The St. Regis Villa – the largest and most exclusive private beachfront residence in Mauritius.

Bova has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, holding leadership positions in restaurants and luxury hotels across Italy, the UK, Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Asia.

His international experience spans both business and leisure sectors, with properties including Al Bustan Palace Intercontinental, Aman Resorts New Delhi, Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Four Seasons Singapore and Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai.

Italian-born and Cornell educated, he joins The St. Regis Mauritius Resort from LUX Le Morne in Mauritius.
