On the occasion of the nomination for the World Casino Awards, the certificate of participation in the category had been displayed inside the casino, later replaced by the document celebrating the victory in the Europe’s Best Casino Entertainment Venue 2023 category.

BTN: What plans have you to communicate your victory to your staff and management?

CA: As soon as the news of the success was received, it was communicated to the management of Casinò Admiral SA and ACE Swiss Holding AG, owner of Casinò Admiral in Mendrisio, who enthusiastically welcomed the victory. “Just before Christmas, we received two extraordinary gifts”, says Birgit Wimmer, Chairwoman of the Non-Executive Board of ACE SWISS Holding AG, holding company and a sister company to NOVOMATIC AG. “The first is the renewal of the concession for another 20 years, giving us the opportunity to continue with our strategy of providing our customers with the best possible gaming experience in an attractive and safe environment. The second is the award as the Best Casino Entertainment Venue in Europe, which is a reference in the casino world and a great source of inspiration and pride for our group”. Emanuela Ventrici, CEO of ADMIRAL Casino Mendrisio adds: “this recognition also highlights the great commitment and dedication of the entire team of the casino that works hard on a daily basis for the success of our gaming venue”.

BTN: Lastly, what developments are you planning in the year ahead to ensure you are able to retain this prestigious title?

CA: The code word is “continuity,” that is, pursuing the path that has brought success to Admiral Casino. There will be no shortage of new events, promotions and many novelties affecting different areas of the Casino. The floor of slot machines will be further enriched, there will be a new table game, more and more attractive jackpots will be introduced, and some promotional events related, for example, to the upcoming European Football Championship are planned.
