Norwegian carries 3.3 million passengers in August
Norwegian has again hit the three million passenger mark. In August, the airline carried almost 3.3 million passengers, an increase of 14 percent compared to the same month previous year.
Norwegian reaches new passenger milestone in July
Norwegian marked another milestone in July, as the company carried more than 3.3 million passengers in a single month. The total number of passengers increased by 15 per cent compared to the same month last year, while the load factor at the airline was 94 per cent.
Norwegian UK granted tentative US air carrier permit
Norwegian has confirmed its British subsidiary, Norwegian UK, has been given tentative approval by the United States department of transportation for a foreign air carrier permit. The approval reaffirms that the NUK application is in full compliance with the EU–US Open Skies Agreement.

Norwegian has reported pre-tax profits of NOK861 million (£80.5 million) for the second quarter of financial 2017. This is slightly down from last year’s result, mainly due to higher oil prices and the air passenger tax implemented by the government in Norway last year.
