Heathrow Express to waive fees for children from Friday
From this Friday children will be able to travel free on the Heathrow Express. The airport train service has run its ‘Kids go free’ offer in the past for limited periods of time. But from Friday March 27th, as the Easter holidays begin, it becomes a permanent fixture.
British Airways welcomes rail companies into fold with single ticket journeys
Britain’s biggest scheduled airline and two train companies are making international travel easier for their customers in Wales and the West of England. A single booking will now combine air and rail travel, with hassle-free connections, thanks to a new partnership between British Airways, Heathrow Express and First Great Western. From December 5th these tickets will be available to book through travel agents for travel from 11 First Great Western stations.

Along with global British Airways Executive Club members and UK members of the Avios Travel Rewards Programme, Iberia Plus members will get up to 400 Avios points when buying Heathrow Express tickets online.
Fire closes Heathrow Express during Christmas exodus
Heathrow Express, the main line linking London to the airport, has been closed by fire as thousands of passengers attempt to board flights for the Christmas holiday. The branch route to Heathrow was shut after water penetrated a line-side transformer at its junction with the Great Western main line earlier, causing a fire.
