Qatar Airways has signed a new code-share agreement with Comair, a franchise of British Airways, that will add three new African destinations to the Qatar Airways route map, and provide additional flight options to travellers in Cape Town and Durban.
Comair renews its global full content agreement with Travelport
Travelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, has renewed its global full content agreement with South African owned Comair Limited (Comair). Comair operates scheduled airline services under its low-cost airline brand, kulula.com, as well as the British Airways brand as part of its licence agreement with British Airways Plc.
Comair places $830m order with Boeing
Boeing and Comair have announced an order for eight 737 MAX 8s, valued at $830 million at list prices. It is the first 737 MAX order announcement for an African operator. The order was booked in December 2013 and was previously unidentified on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website.
Indaba 2011: New Durban to London direct service
Travel and tourism between London and Durban has received a shot in the arm with news of a new direct flight between the two cities, unveiled at Tourism Indaba today. The Comair direct fly will run between London Gatwick and King Shaka International Airport, Durban.
