Global airline capacity grows for 9th consecutive month
The growth in scheduled flights worldwide continues again in February with airlines providing 5% more flights. In line with the general worldwide trend for larger aircraft, this translates to a slightly larger capacity increase (of 6%) as the average available seats in February 2012 nudges towards 127 per aircraft versus 125 in the same period last year.
Saudi Arabia opens skies to foreign carriers

UK flights punctuality improves year on year during April - June 2011
The CAA data shows that during April to June 2011, the overall on-time performance (defined as the proportion of flights arriving or departing early or up to 15 minutes late) of scheduled flights at the ten UK airports monitored was 82%, four percentage points higher than in the second quarter of 2010.
