Aeromexico, Mexico’s biggest airline, has announced it will be operating seven weekly flights to and from Asia, promoting Mexico’s bilateral relations with Japan and China. Starting in April, Aeromexico will add its fourth weekly flight to and from Tokyo, while in July it will add its third weekly flight to and from Shanghai, consolidating its position as the only Latin American airline to unite these cities with the capital of Mexico.

Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that it will increase its daily flights during the summer season from Orlando and Miami to Mexico City, as of June 22nd, and July 1st, respectively. The carrier will also add six weekly flights between Los Angeles and Mexico City for the summer season as of July 1st.

Aeromexico has started to serve the Los Angeles – La Paz route with modern Embraer 190 aircraft equipped with 99 passenger seats. With this route, the airline offers its first international connection from La Paz, in addition to its currently flights to Mexico City and Culiacan, continuing the latter to Guadalajara.

Aeromexico has launched its new route Las Vegas - Puerto Penasco - Hermosillo, Mexico, starting on June 20th. The airline will operate two weekly flights to these Mexican touristic destinations with Embraer 145 aircraft - 50 seats.

Aeromexico has announced its new frequency from Chicago to Mexico City starting on July 15th, adding its third daily direct flight between these major destinations. The frequencies offered by the airline from Chicago increase due to the demand of business and leisure travellers that take advantage of the wide network of connections that Aeromexico offers within Mexico and Latin America.

Boeing and Aeromexico have finalised an order for six 787-9 Dreamliners, with reconfirmation rights for four additional Dreamliners. The order by Mexico’s largest airline, which was first announced as a commitment in July, is valued at more than $1.46 billion at published list prices.
