Aeromexico, Mexico’s biggest airline, has announced it will be operating seven weekly flights to and from Asia, promoting Mexico’s bilateral relations with Japan and China. Starting in April, Aeromexico will add its fourth weekly flight to and from Tokyo, while in July it will add its third weekly flight to and from Shanghai, consolidating its position as the only Latin American airline to unite these cities with the capital of Mexico.

Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that it will increase its daily flights during the summer season from Orlando and Miami to Mexico City, as of June 22nd, and July 1st, respectively. The carrier will also add six weekly flights between Los Angeles and Mexico City for the summer season as of July 1st.

Boeing and Aeromexico have finalised an order for six 787-9 Dreamliners, with reconfirmation rights for four additional Dreamliners. The order by Mexico’s largest airline, which was first announced as a commitment in July, is valued at more than $1.46 billion at published list prices.
