THETRADESHOW wants to hear from travel agents about what education courses they want to see offered at this year’s event, taking place Sept. 12-14 in Orlando. Travel agents whose entries are received by March 20 will have their name automatically entered into a drawing* and have the chance to win a complimentary registration to attend THETRADESHOW. Submissions will be chosen at random. Winners will be announced by April 17, 2010. Any idea submitted for educational seminars will be evaluated by THETRADESHOW management and could be used as a topic for an upcoming ASTA seminar.
“THETRADESHOW is dedicated to providing today’s travel professional with the latest in education and training. So we can continue to be relevant to travel agents no matter at what stage they are in
their career, we’re asking them to tell us what they want. Whether it’s a new destination or technology information or even new presentation formats, we want to hear about it,” said William Maloney CTC,
CEO of ASTA, one of the event’s managing partners.
Last year in Las Vegas in just three education-packed days, THETRADESHOW presented more than 50 educational sessions to help agents enhance their areas of expertise and capture more sales
opportunities. Of the education offerings at THETRADESHOW, attendee Iris Green of Magic Travel said: “The trade show was great, and I was very happy with the educational opportunities. The
training sessions, seminars and panels provided a valuable learning experience and marketing advice.
I gained a new and better understanding of the current travel environment with improved insight and wisdom.”
