US Airways today announced the appointment of Paul Galleberg to the position of vice president, legal affairs, and John McDonald to the position of vice president, corporate communications. Both officer appointments replace open positions and have been approved by the airline’s Board of Directors.

Paul Galleberg – Vice President, Legal Affairs

Galleberg oversees US Airways’ corporate and business legal work, including securities transactions and filings, financing and business and commercial transactions, and support of the Board of Directors’ Audit and Finance Committees.

After earning his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, Galleberg spent 14 years at Latham & Watkins, followed by six years at Infonet Services Corporation, where he held the position of senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary.
