Seychelles Tourism Board partners with Etihad for Saudi roadshow

Seychelles Tourism Board partners with Etihad for Saudi roadshow Etihad Airways partnered with Seychelles Tourism Board for the event

Officials from the Seychelles Tourism Board have outlined the unique selling points of the destination on offer to Middle Eastern travellers in a new presentation.

A series of seminars - conducted in front of 90 key corporate clients in Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - were designed to attract traffic ahead of the summer and Ramadan.

The seminars, which were carried out in conjunction with Etihad Airways, are designed to entice corporate clients to spend their next holiday in the Seychelles.

“Seychelles Tourism Board Middle East has been working closely with Etihad Airways since they have commenced their operation to The Seychelles in November 2011,” said Ahmed Fathallah, regional manager, Seychelles Tourism Office.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia corporate event gave us an opportunity to further increase the awareness of the destination and to strengthen the relationship among the top key corporate clients.

“This event was considered to be the start of a series of joint activity plans in Saudi Arabia.”

Each of the three seminars included a hosted dinner and hotel prizes were given away sponsored by Banyan Tree Seychelles, Kempinski Seychelles Resort, Raffles Praslin and flight tickets from Etihad Airways to the Seychelles.

Etihad Airways – which is considered the World’s Leading Airline by the World Travel Awards - partner with Air Seychelles earlier this year.

“As we had concluded Etihad Airways/Seychelles Tourism Board first corporate event in Saudi Arabia, we are looking forward to building our strategic partnership.

“Partnership is the fastest way to persuade a business,” concluded Shehab Turk, manager - business development of Etihad Airways in Saudi.
