Worldhotels properties undergo renovations

Fast-growing Worldhotels, which has already added over 50 new properties to its portfolio this year, has received a further upgrade with a number of affiliate hotels undergoing significant renovations work.

In an increasingly competitive business environment, Worldhotels affiliates are going the extra mile to offer guests the best possible accommodation experience. Examples of the many properties being upgraded are:

Hotel Birger Jarl, Stockholm, a four-star property in the heart of the city, which is currently carrying out extensive renovation work. This includes an overhaul on the lobby, bar, dining room and kitchen areas. Some of the existing rooms will also be refurnished and redecorated. The work is due to be completed by November 2011. By early 2012, 30 additional rooms will also be added to the current 235.

Boutique Hotel Zara, Budapest, has now completed the 70,000 EUR renovation of all 74 rooms. With the focus on modern, elegant design, the upgrade creates a sense of harmony and calm throughout the property. The ARAZ Bistro is also a new addition to the hotel, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a cocktail hour after dark.

Husa Los Seises, Seville, has recently finished a renovation project on all of its 42 rooms, introducing three new colour schemes: „Holy Week‟ (purple rooms), „April Fiesta‟ (red rooms) and „Bullring Rooms‟ (yellow rooms). While the new décor is sleek and modern, all renovations have been sympathetic to the hotel‟s status as a classified monument in the former Palace of the Archbishop of Seville.

New Hotel Roblin, Paris, is a four-star boutique property in the heart of the city‟s Madeleine-Opera district. The hotel is currently under renovation, with plans to reopen in January 2012. With luxury designer Flamant overseeing the project, the revamp will include soft, warm tones combined with wide, bright spaces and classic furnishing.
