Qype has agreed a partnership with MyTaxi of Germany.

The deal will see MyTaxi - which is currently available on the iPhone in major German cities - integrated in the Germany-only Qype app. 

QYPE chief marketing officer Richard Dennys said: “Qype’s mobile apps are moving from strength to strength with now over 5 million downloaded.

“Our partnership with MyTaxi is a natural fit - not only are we both based in the city of Hamburg, but we share values for getting customers to the right place at the right time, for the right price with the minimum of fuss.”

Qype is Europe’s largest user-recommendation service.

In turn, myTaxi is Germany’s leading taxi-app, with one in five German taxis working with the brand.
